Club and Tournament Rules

1.  Club Membership dues are $100 per person. Walk-up Memberships  ($100 + $40 Fee per Person, No Guests). (Example: Someone just wanting to fish their local lake tournament.) All Dues will be paid back at the Classic Tournament.

2.  Anglers of the Year will be based on the total pounds of fish weighed in at each tournament.  Prize will be $400 cash. (Per team)

3. Big Bass of the Year will be based on the angler/team who catches the heaviest bass overall at the end of the year. Prize will be $200 cash (Per team)

4. 100% of entry fees will be paid back at every tournament.

5. One Day Tournament Entry fees are $40/person.  ($35 will be paid to Big Stringer and $5 to Big Bass.)

6. Two Day Tournament Entry fees are $45/person. ($35 will be paid to Big Stringer $5 to day one Big Bass, and $5 to day two Big Bass.) Big Bass for day one will be determined by the heaviest fish caught on day one and Big Bass for day two will be determined by the heaviest fish caught on day two.

7. Regular Tournament Payback will be as follows:  

               1 Place       1 to 5 People............. 100% 

               2 Places     6 to 11 People.........….60%   40%

               3 Places     12 to 23 People.......…50%  30%  20%

               4 Places     24 to 47 People…….. 45%  30%  15%  10%

               5 Places     48 and up People……45%  25%  15%  10%  5%                   

8. Classic Tournament will pay back 100% off the entry fees plus all of the membership dues that are not used for club expenses. The Classic Tournament will pay 5 places unless there are fewer than five teams in attendance in the following percentages:

            1 Place……………45%

            2 Place……………25%

            3 Place……………15%

            4 Place……………10%

            5 Place……………5%

9.  All lake, state, and federal laws apply unless Club rules are more stringent.

10.  Tournament times must be obeyed.

11.  All dead fish weighed in will be penalized 1/4 lb. or 4 oz.

12.  Short fish will be disqualified an official ruler will be available at weigh-in.

13. All contestants must be in sight at the weigh-in time.

14. All bass must be caught alive using rod and reel and artificial
lures only with the exception of pork trailers.

15. Trolling with the combustion engine is prohibited.

16. All ties will be resolved by splitting that place and the next place's money. For example: a tie for 1st place will result in splitting the money from 1st and 2nd place.

17. Only Black Bass, Spotted Bass, and Smallmouth Bass will be weighed-in. Smallmouth will be 14” on all lakes. Spotted bass will go by the length of Black Bass on a particular lake.

18. A Club member may fish a scheduled Club tournament by his/her self, with one other Club member, or one qualified guest.

19. At weigh-in, only 5 fish/boat will be allowed.

20. The Club tournament schedule may be changed at any scheduled Club tournament by a majority vote of Club members present at said Club tournament, ONLY if the proposed schedule change is meant to benefit the Club as a whole.

21. A guest may fish with a club member only 2 times without being a club member . (Club member must have fished at least 1 tournament before the member will be allowed to fish with a guest)

22. You must be an active paid member and fish at least 4 tournaments to qualify and fish the CLASSIC TOURNAMENT.

23. A member may pay an additional entry fee at the Classic Tournament in order to qualify for the Classic if, said member lacks ONLY ONE tournament from qualifying for the Classic and said member became a member no later than the fifth tournament prior to the Classic.

24. Each member will have his/her lowest weight, for one tournament, automatically dropped. The remaining tournaments will be added together to give that member his/her total weight for the year. A member does not have to be in attendance at the tournament in order for it to be dropped.

26. Honesty is expected from all members.
